Am Donnerstag 18. Juni 2009 wird Tara MC Pherson ihr neues Buch „Lost Constellations“\u00a0 mit einer kleinen Ausstellung pr\u00e4sentieren und signieren. Weitere Informationen werden noch hier demn\u00e4chst erw\u00e4hnt! Die New Yorkerin Tara McPherson ist trotz ihres jungen Alters (Jahrgang 76) bereits eine erfolgreiche Malerin, Illustratorin und Poster K\u00fcnstlerin, die so grosse Namen wie DC Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Spin Magazine, Fanta, die Knitting Factory u.a. zu ihren Auftraggebern z\u00e4hlen darf. Geboren in San Francisco und aufgewachsen in Los Angeles, studierte Tara im Art Center in Pasadena, CA Illustration und Bildende Kunst, was sie im August 2001 erfolgreich abschloss. F\u00fcr ihre Titelbilder von DC Vertigo Comics wie Lucifer oder The Witching erhielt sie 2005 den Communication Arts Award of Excellence. Neben zahlreichen Merchandising Projekten, Magazin-Illustrationen, Comic-Covern und Konzertpostern war Taras Kunstfertigkeit bereits in zahlreichen B\u00fcchern wie z.B. The Art of Modern Rock (Chronicle), Project Superior (Adhouse) oder Illustration Now! (Taschen) und 2006 ihr erstes Buch Lonley Heart bei Dark Horse Vom 11. Juni bis 18. Juli 2009 findet eine Europatour statt, wo Tara ihr neustes Buch „Lost Constellations“ vorstellen wird.<\/p>\n
